About Us
Located in Board of Education District 9 and KCS Region 3, Mooreland Heights Elementary serves approximately 375 students and is the home of the Rockets.
The school opened in 1931 with renovations that took place in the 1950s and a final renovation that began in 2015.
The vision of Mooreland Heights Elementary is to prepare and motivate our students for a rapidly changing world by instilling critical thinking skills, a diverse perspective, and a respect for core values of honesty, dedication, perseverance, and compassion. Students will have success today to be prepared for tomorrow.
