School Counseling

Kristie Lee
I am Ms. Kristie Lee, the full-time School Counselor at Mooreland Heights Elementary, serving students Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. I hold a master's degree in School Counseling from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a bachelor's degree in psychology and counseling from Maryville College. Guided by a comprehensive, developmental counseling approach aligned with ASCA standards, I work to support the academic, social-emotional, and personal growth of every student in a safe, encouraging learning environment. I provide individual counseling, small-group sessions, and classroom guidance lessons focused on building school success skills, positive relationships, emotional regulation, goal setting, self-esteem, conflict resolution, and coping with change or loss. I collaborate closely with families, teachers, and staff to ensure students feel supported, empowered, and motivated to achieve their fullest potential. I believe all students deserve equitable access to care, connection, and opportunities to develop lifelong learning skills.
